Beach outing

Hi pals, how's your weekend? Me and my brother, Leslie had a blast at the beach. We drove an hour to the beach at Port Dickson.

This is Leslie first experience at the beach. We had a fun time zooming around the sandy beach and splashing some water. Initially, he refuse to enter into the water, but after I showed him how much fun I'm having, he finally gave it a try.

Journey to the South

27 January 2009

On the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, we took a day trip to Mrs. Old Mum's hometown at Johor. It had been 5 years since Ms Owner's last visit. With our new family car available, I was able to tag along.
~ Getting ready to zoom ~

~ Bee Gees Karaoke time! ~
~ The journey was too long and I dozed away ~
~ Still non-stop Bee Gees ~

At last, we reached our destination. The family house is more than half a century old, but still standing strong. And mine you, my brickhouse did occasionally experience leakage during storm, but their wooden house won't.

~ While the human were busy socializng, I enjoyed sun-basking time. Woot! ~
~ Let me introduce you to my greatgrandma.~

We didn't spent the night and gotta rush back home in the middle of the night. Thanks to Mr Old Daddy.

My first out-of-town trip with the family is not that bad afterall. I'm surely looking forward to our next trip.

Pacco de OX

Welcome the year of OX! While we used to refer these horns to devil, now I'm no longer Pacco de Devil, but instead I'm Pacco de Evil Ox!

Since our Lee family originated from Selangor, we don't travel back to hometown like most KL people. Chinese New Year in the city is not as lively as in the rural area. On the day before New Year, we went for a movie at Mid Valley and the silence was staggering. You don't even need to Q for a ticket. Therefore, the family traveled to Banting, 1 hour drive away from home to visit the local chinese temple to experience some New Year excitement.

~ Is the year of Ox, is the year of Ms Owner ! ~

The family is deciding which way to head to. They looked like a child trying to choose a sweetie in a chocolate factory.

Here I present you the 'Wishing Tree'. Hey, I thought this is Japanese tradition. Anyway, I wish for PaccoMobile, SLR camera, digital piano and debts-free for Ms Owner. Ain't I thoughtful?

~ Beware : OX-s on the loose ~

At the main hall, the room was reverberating with low-pitched human voices saying prayers and reciting rhythms. The siblings felt like an explorer learning about some mysterious nomadic tribe.

Honestly, they know nothing about religions and prayers. All they know is how to have fun whenever they are. Despite their old age, they still possess the natural exuberance of young children.

Last but not least, Pacco de Ox is enjoying the year of Ox too. I can tell this will be a prosperous year for her with all the extra cash and I can enjoy my retirement life.

Guess who is the mysterious Ox below.

Field Dog Wannabe

To compensate for me not getting to go Cherating with my friends just because she got poster presentation on Friday, she brought me to the local Central Park. Totally a different league if you mind to compare. Artificial field with artificial lake, nuff said. I would have prefer the Gasing Hill which is more physical demanding. Anyway according to her, Gasing Hill is a place for me to become a hooligan, this field is a place for me to be a well trained field dog. Understand the term? Nope.

First, observe and analyze the surrounding. My head keeps swiveling from left to right, like someone watching a tennis game, while taking note of the fun and danger at every corner.

I've known all along that Border Collie has been on her top of her wishlist. But I can assured her that's nothing about them which I can't do. I'm fast, agile and a high jumper too, in fact I might jump even higher. I just lack some passion in me. And all of a sudden I realized, I can HERD too. Is easy. Keep your head low, tip toed, and ambush! Yes, that's exactly what the herding breed does. Is so easy and being totally overrated.

Huh?! What?! Okay. She said I'm not herding, I'm ATTACKing. Anyway, the concept is pretty much the same. Forget the herding, field is meant for ZOOMIESsss... Whenever I run, I put all baggage, all worries and lost myself in the most euphoric sensation that I ever feel, as if I had returned to my mother's womb, a place where I feel so free, so safe and so pure.

As I patrolling the lake, I couldn't help but begin picturing myself strolling by the Cherating beach. I'm sure the feeling is the same, walking on four legs, searching out for potential interesting stuff along, while she laying on the sand, instead of grass, reading her paperback.

As I sample the water... Hmm, yummy. Is better than drinking salt water, right?

Reaching noon, I'm done sneaking around and wanted to settle down. She turned to me "Do you wanna do something?" Oh, no. I know exactly what she meant. Nope. I don't want to practice those eyes staring and heeling stuff on this wonderful day. She always insist that if we keep practising everyday for few years, one day I will be pawfect. But by the time I'm good enough, the world will probably have blown up, or something. Who knows whether 5 years later I'm still around. Why not enjoy yourself while you can. I totally advocate for the latter.

KKB's Waterfall Trip V3 (II)

Along with my training mates and JT pals, we're set off to disembark on yet another waterfall trip to Kuala Kubu Bharu. Early in the morning, I can gelt the jolt of excitement stirring on my small tummy.
~ I'm Queen of the world ~

Our triumphant arrival was warmly welcome by the residential mutts. "Aloha". There were a large group of them accompanied by their owners. They put me in shamed by demonstrating their impecable obedience skills.

Once, the residential mutts have set off into the woods, giving us their consent to enjoy at their territory, Scruffy and Ginger were the first to kick off the electric buzz of excitement by jumping, swimming and splashing with the balls.

After tiring out ourselves with swimming and running, the humans were ready enjoy their breakfast. The menu includes, sandwiches (delicious), banana (yucks), pure lotus mooncake (our favourite!), nasi lemak and chicken liver (for dogs!). While, we dogs, snooping around opportunistically awaiting for a chunk of food to fall from above. However, all we got was our head soaked with overflow of mayonise dripped from the sandwiches.
