Thanks to Charlie for this award.

Lenny had officially announce that I'm the pup (okay, maybe not that young) had won the most medals from the event. It had given me a touch of pride, which I haven't felt for a long time after my recent hideous work ethic.

Million thanks to the organizer, honourable judges, friends supports and not to forget Opy and Charlie for awarding me the DWB T-shirt. I can't wait to receive it, we will proudly wear it to my local doggie outing. Watchout, Mr. Postman, I will be stalking after you every afternoon.

Tonight sport headlines will be featuring the US Open 2008 champion Roger Federer. After handing his #1 spot to Rafael Nadal. Honestly, we thought he will continue with his unlucky streak and never gonna win any Grand Slam this season after being diagnosed with mononucleosis early this year. However, after watching his semi final against Novak Djokovic, he's still pulling the magic 'overhead' shot, we were in awed. Now with his 13th Grand Slam, just another one shy from Sampras.

Here I would like to bestow these awards to the following brilliant blogs I treasure: one of my oldest blogger pal, late T-man, new trekking pal, Scotch, the King who always go boating, Simba, the airedale siblings, Maggie & Mictch, black & white spitz, Comet & BLU, the boy who was worried about hurricane, Mack, the 3 wild heeler's, Gus, Louie and Callie.
DWB Summer Pawlimpics had finally came to an end, with the wrestling entries being the last event. I had acquired another 2 silver and 1 bronze apart from my previous 2 gold and 1 silver. In total I had 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze. I'm anxiously awaiting for Lenny's medals tally to see at which rank did I land.

I myself, don't fancy swimming that much. If I can help it, I don't even wanna get my shinny black fur soaking wet. You had no idea how long do I need to blow and groom it, is a high maintenance. But I had always tremendously admire legendary sportmens. From Micheal Schumacher, Theo Bos to Ian Thorpe. Now I would like to invite Phelps to have a friendly match with me. As a courtesy host, I shall choose his favourite style, Butterfly.

Afterall, swimming is not my specialty. I would have prefer racing on land. Track & Field would suit me better. Last but not least, congratulation to Phelps and all American for producing such a shattering record in Olympic history.

My 2nd gold was a photo taken during Pet-n-You's party at YMCA during December last year. As you can see I was busybody-ing around the food. This event is 'Being a Nuisance'.
For the 'Hurdles' event, I got won myself a bronze medal. This photo was snap at my previous training ground by Mr. Groovy. Here I would like to thank the panel judges for voting for me.

Dear Dave,
Where are you, Dave? I miss you so much. I walk over wanted to greet you, but you was nowhere to be found. I search through your favourite sleeping place, but to no avail. I can't believe you leave me without saying goodbye.
The memories are still fresh in my mind. Do you still remember the day? It was 15 March 2008, a rainy day. You landed on my yard, wet, bleeding and scared. You were petrified, unable to move, eat or drink. I whisper to your ears 'Don't give up'.
It felt just like yesterday, that I met you, but 5 months had past. You had nurse back to your prime health. You never understand how thrill I felt when I saw you flapping your wings every night. I teased that your flying skill is lousy, but you never gave up.

The day had come when you had decided to leave me behind. I understand. You need to return to where you belong, the place you can find true happiness and enjoy the freedom. You had finally become a beautiful pigeon, spreading out your magnificient wings, soaring high above the horizon. I hope you will never forget me.

Now, whenever I gaze up the sky, I know I had a pigeon friend, named Dave. You proved to everyone out there, that they are wrong. Broken wing did not stop you from flying again. You showed me ruthless determination can overcome all obstacle in life. I am so proud of you, my one and only birdie pal. I hope you will always remember me, I know I will.
Love,
Pacco

I still remember that beautiful Sunday
As usual you are drooling away
You show us your elegant weaving
Because you say you will be competiting
Dumbell is your favourite toy
the article bring you so much joy
By your master side you heel
confidence is what you feel
Time has past since that memorable day
when the God decided to bring you away
The emptiness still lingers from time to time
but when I think about you I know we'll be fine

You were more than just a friend
you were our best friend
Faithful companion
from beginning to end
With your friendly bark and wagging tail
you never showed if you ailed
Running and playing morning to night
never a mean growl or a bite
We wish you were still here right by our side
but you'll always be with us deep down inside
We gave you a smile and you gave us your heart
there is no way we will ever part
The love that you showed us we'll never forget
Obedience title, we will help you to get
We'll love you forever
You are our friend

When we look out; into the dark of night
You'll be that bright star; our guiding light
We'll meet again at the Bridge one day
when we'll walk in the light; together to stay

Guess what! I took part in the Scary Eye contest, hosted by Deetz the Airedale Terror, and I won in the 'Very Scary' catergory. I'm thrilled and proud of my scary eyes. Thanks to everyone who had voted for me.
Indeed in reality, my eyes really did manage to impressed and at the same time scare off some faint-hearted ones. "Oh gosh, look at those eye", "You eyes are unique", "Oh my, that's scary looking pair of eyes" and etc... are compliment and harsh comments I usually received.

Below was my diamond-looking eye. It was a picture taken 2 years ago from my vintage camera, that time I'm still sleeping outdoor with my blankey.

Tomorrow will be the weekend. I'm going jungle trekking with my pal. Recently, our group had shrunk to just a few of us. Fortunately, we had recruited a new trekker, is Daisy, a mixed who resemble a Pointer. As usual I try to bully every new kid that came to my jungle, Ms Owner assume I had now taken over the title "JT's Big Bully". Anyway, I will try to capture a picture of Daisy soon.

PetFinder.my is up and running. There's the place you should go if you intend to adopt a dog, help in rescue or fostering a pup. There will be lists of dogs and puppies available for adoption being featured.
Meanwhile, me, Pacco de Proud Adopted Mutt had bag home 15kg of dog food and 2 winner trophies from my recent trials and awaiting Scruffy's lady boss to forward me our photos.
Surprisingly, we had been informed by Sue that Scruffy and me were being featured in the local paper. Although Ms Owner can't understand what the paper says and my pretty face isn't there, but at least my proud name does.
