Kinki, my very first dog.

The first dog ever to make me love her as much as a love myself is Kinki. She is the own that makes me steps into the world of dogs. She make me realize that mongrels are also one of the lovable out there.

Previously during my adolescent age, I only treat dogs in my house as ornaments and I hardly spend time with them. When they are cute during the puppy age, I'll spend most of my time with them. But as they had grown up they are no longer cute, I eventually became fed up on them. Their barkings annoyed me and I scolded them for disturbing me.

So how Kinki was able to step into my life? Are you curious? Who is the one that could actually change me?

She is just a mongrel that looks physically similar to those that you saw out there, struggling to continue they live by hunting and begging for food. Kinki is a plain brown medium size mongrel. To most of the people, she might looks absolutely normal. But to me, she's like an angel sitting by my side, watching me.

Everything happens on one find evening on 11 July, 2003. I was buying dinner with my family near the Selayang Market. My sister and I saw a woman abandoning her little brown puppy by the side of the road. When the woman walks away and get back into her car. The poor little puppy run as fast as she could the chase her master car. But her short legged just couldn't catch up the Proton Iswara. She finally gave up and stopped by the side, looking around and observe the foreign environment that had never seen before.

Then, I quickly pick up the puppy, and gave her a cuddle. My sister instantly ask my dad, whether we can bring the puppy home. My dad agrees after our persuasion. So that's how I encounter Kinki and from then she had found herself a loving home.

Hi Amanda

I have just read your blog and I am so sad to hear that you've lost Kinki. I know it happened quite some time ago but it must be terrible...and it's even more terrible to know that there are people who are so evil as to leave puppies by the road side...

I'm so glad that there are people like you in this world who truly care for their dogs...
