Ti-Ratana Family Day @ Brickfields

It was the 5th Ti-Ratana Family Day event being held at La Salle, Brickfields. The place was congested with stalls selling foods and playful kids looking admirally at us, the cute dogs. Erm... maybe I'm not included in the list. Strangers were even warn by my owner not to touch me, as I will definately snap. My owner claim that I behaved as if I was worth a few grand and my coat will get messed up after being touch. But I don't mean to be rude, I just thought I stinks.

The event start off with speech from honourable guest and then the spectators proceed to witness what it meant by canine sports. The Pet-n-You squard started off with Frisbee demo, follow by Groovy trademark musical freestyle moves and later with agility stunts.

My presence of the day was not being a spectator or cheerleader only. I was actually being assigned to do some tricks of my own, but sorry to say that I chicken-out the last minute. Owner had no idea what's the real reason behind my AWOL again. As for me, is no big deal, afterall there won't be any food. But owner seem really pissed off again, as she said that this is even more serious than casual games. She felt that she had the responsibility to succeed when we agree to take part. It took me a year to bring home my first prize, maybe I need another year to be totally reliable.

My only contribution of the day was a 26 inch jump. I keep skipping of the 30 inch, and it resulting in Groovy himself to finish off the high jump demo. Hehe.....luckily Groovy is so hardworking. And I think the crowd was very impressed with him the little one to complete that great leap. In the meantime, I just hide myself under the shed.

This was my second Ti-Ratana charity event. And both ended up miserably. So next time, I better keep my ass home.
