Ti-Ratana Family Day @ Brickfields

15 July 2007

It was the 5th Ti-Ratana Family Day event being held at La Salle, Brickfields. The place was congested with stalls selling foods and playful kids looking admirally at us, the cute dogs. Erm... maybe I'm not included in the list. Strangers were even warn by my owner not to touch me, as I will definately snap. My owner claim that I behaved as if I was worth a few grand and my coat will get messed up after being touch. But I don't mean to be rude, I just thought I stinks.

~ Caution! This black dog bites ~

The event start off with speech from honourable guest and then the spectators proceed to witness what it meant by canine sports. The Pet-n-You squard started off with Frisbee demo, follow by Groovy trademark musical freestyle moves and later with agility stunts.

~ Haha... This photo looks as if I'm one of an OB master ~

My presence of the day was not being a spectator or cheerleader only. I was actually being assigned to do some tricks of my own, but sorry to say that I chicken-out the last minute. Owner had no idea what's the real reason behind my AWOL again. As for me, is no big deal, afterall there won't be any food. But owner seem really pissed off again, as she said that this is even more serious than casual games. She felt that she had the responsibility to succeed when we agree to take part. It took me a year to bring home my first prize, maybe I need another year to be totally reliable.

~ I felt so unnerving. I want to go home! ~

My only contribution of the day was a 26 inch jump. I keep skipping of the 30 inch, and it resulting in Groovy himself to finish off the high jump demo. Hehe.....luckily Groovy is so hardworking. And I think the crowd was very impressed with him the little one to complete that great leap. In the meantime, I just hide myself under the shed.

This was my second Ti-Ratana charity event. And both ended up miserably. So next time, I better keep my ass home.

Hey Pacco - you're always a star & have nothing to prove to others - sometimes we feel like showing off & other times not, but do go again in the competitions & make sure to have fun - they will become more familiar to you & your ma - so relax & enjoy !!!

It can be unnerving with so many people and dogs around, just put it down to experience.

Hi Pacco,
Don't worry about it. We can't be perfect all of the time. You are a very talented pup and can do things that a lot of other dogs can't.
Cheer up
Jazz and Dixie

Hey Paco we think a 26 inch jump is very good and besides you were being so kind to step back and allow little Groovy to get all the cheers!!

It is thought that the influence of the jump of an able puppy changes in the way of the practice.
It is the same as the athlete. :)

Hi Pacco!

I'm sure you're just being modest and just letting other dogs show off. You're very considerate.

Don't worry.. it's not actually mandatory for us to be doing all agility.. look at me.. i know zero.. and I like to sleep and be fat..
