Dogathon 2007

The annual Dogathon is here again. The theme for this year was the 'King & Castle', while Pacco probably suit the role as the black 'Knight'.


Due to the fact that, the winner of the 'Best Trick' gets too predictable, as if he was the Schumacher of F1. Groovy was to perform his musical freestyle and trick during the opening ceremony instead. Therefore, forbidden him from claiming the prize later. Great tactic from the organizer.

After enjoying myself by watching Groovy's dance routine, we head off the to starting line for the major event of the day, which is the Dogathon!


As I had mentioned in previous post. Me and my owner emerge as the winner for 'Ladies with Large breed dog' category. This is the advantage of being 'big', but 'not so big' to retard your sporting ability.

The Pet-n-You agility playzone area was fill with some entertaining demostration from their dog squad.

For the Master Hunt game, the dog was to be placed inside a maze and gotta find the way out to reunite with their owner. This was the 2nd time I played this game, and ofcoz I got myself familiar with the route already and with owner utilizing her new technique learnt from previous year, I'm the winner again.

I couldn't help myself but to laugh when I notice that nowadays, the trend is to color up your dog. The weirdest, would be the winner.

During the 'Best Trick' game, when my owner notice that my mind had started to wander off yet again, she decided to cancel off all the appertiser and dessert, and just serve the main course, which was my trademark 'weirdo jumping'. Probably, due to the fact that my trick only last for 30 seconds, or the fact that judges are not impress with a black mongrel jumping around, I failed to get even a 3rd placing. Owner was so dissapointed with herself. While, dancing golden, Amber-Mae and Chloe claimed the Top 2 prizes. Maybe I should learn some dancing move too. Jazz, hip hop or Tango?

But never mind that, cause later we're lucky for winning the Agility Challenge again. I'm satisfied with myself by going home with 3 pedigree hamper full of yummy food and a 'Lucky' pillow. Here is me, trying to guard my possession.
