Back on Trek

~ Is good to be back on trek. I bet all the trees, bushes, flowers, stream, mud and mosquitoes miss me lot ~

The Schutzhund trial is next weekend and there were still a number of trainers around at the Padang Merbuk up till 12pm. We got to watch their bite work routine. I love the sound of the whip, it got me really excited, I seek around for the source of the unusual sound. Hannah was driving full force forward to grab on the helper, is simply amazing. Ginger got a go at trying out her bite work on the smaller version of the sleeve. Bite work looks cool, just too bad that I'm only capable of biting rope.

Ms Owner wanted to test out my temperament, as she had been wondering all the time whether do I really had the gut to attack someone. Hannah's owner held an article and tried to agitate me. My reaction was 'non-stop furious barking with only slight lunging'. They said I'm just being 'defensive' not 'aggresive'. Nonetheless, he asked Ms Owner to give me a praise. This makes me love the Schutzhund ground, as I was being praise for doing what I wanted to do, and not for doing what I was asked to do. In conclusion, Ms Owner can't rely on me to be her guard dog, as I'm only capable of scaring off pussy human.

~ I would rather die a man, than live for all eternity a machine ~

We had just done watching Bicentennial Man 2 hours ago. The movie start off with a slow pace and you might consider switching the channels. But no matter how terrible a movie is, Ms Owner never give up until the credit rolls. Just like she never give up on me, no matter how terrible I am. Upon reaching the end of this sci-fi movie, it gets more meaningful and we started debating about humanity vs religion. Is a fact that current law forbid human to have rights to euthanize themselves, left many of the elderly and ill living in misery. I surely wish my life will be terminated when I can no longer enjoy being on this earth. The theme of the movie is 'what defines a human?'

Pacco,
Where I live they have assisted suicide. It is more involved than someone just wanting to die. It was voted on by the people. It is always being debated. I am with you. I want to enjoy life, not just live it.

Hi Pacco,

I bet if something really threatened Ms Owner you'll turn into a mean machine, all teeth blazing.

Huskies are terribly friendly, I don't even bark at strangers (I wag my tail. They just might have a treat for me). My parents said I was a wuss and pushover and all sort of terrible names.

Then one day daddy playfully whacked mommy and I bit him. They both were both stunned. Daddy whacked mommy again to make sure, and I bit him again to make him sure.

If (touch wood) the time comes, I bet you will rip the arm anyone who dares to try and harm Ms Owner.

Woooo,
Togo

Hi Pacco,

I just knew you wouldn't be aggressive. You are too sweet to attack.
I haven't seen that movie, but Mom has. I bark at robots when I see them on TV, so I would probably bark at the movie. he he!

Your pal,
Kirby

I think Hannah's owner gave your owner a good advice. praise is always a good tool in dog training. and so is lots of food rewards and play, make sure Ms owner understands that. and I mean LOTS of reward - yummy snacks only, homemade preferably :)

Paco, I'm sure you could scare off a human if you really wanted/needed too.
