~ The picture of my beautiful mother ~
~ Labeled as 'black princess ~
At the age of 1 month and 22 days, I got myself a first car ride, a purple van. A lady held me close to her arm as I entered the strange vehicle. When it came to a halt, I was handed over the window to yet another person. As I was told I was describe as the 'black princess'. I tried very hard to live up to the name. But I had failed terribly. For the first few hours, after I planted my small black paws on a place which will be my forever home, I tried to behave as if I came from a noble and conservative family. I enjoyed the spacious garden, watching the sun basking my black fur and butterlies floating joyfully around the flower. It seems to be a paradise. However, happiness to not last long. When the sun sets and dawn came, suddenly I'm so frighten about the new surrounding. The weird noises coming out from nowhere and I couldn't help but keep yelping for someone.....someone who will help me tight to comfort me. But what I get instead was some yelling and newspaper smacking on the tile. Yeah....this is what they claim 'house manner training'. So, I got to learn to be an independant and dare devil dog. The first thing I learn was whenever your owner shout 'No!', you need to come to an instant 'Freeze', then she'll come over an give you a nice pat, which indicate you are safe.
The toilet tile was my favourite spot, because it had some cooling effect on your little belly. While the grass offer some comfort, but it will made you scratch like hell later. So make your choice. I learn how to do a ball fetching since I'm 2 months old. All you need to do is chase at object that is in motion and bring it back to your owner. As simple as that and you will get yourself a yummy treat.
~ Frustrated puppy ~
I spent my first few months night being in a playpen, that had nothing to play. I attempted to leap over it ever since I been in there. I felt like being a prisoner behind those grills. I trained hard everyday, practising my jumping skill and finally I succeed. Leaping out from the pen and ran towards to garden had been my daily routine. So finally, my owner decided another option to restrained my movement. I was put on a leash instead. It was a long line tying on to my neck, which made me extremely uncomfortable.
A puppy which had no freedom at all is what best describe my situation at that time. And is that growing period that result in me being a maniac and hyperactive dog. I jump as high as I could and run as fast as I could, just to seek for some freedom. While, my owner tend to emphasize that my horizontal leap is an inborn talent, I tried to protest here that it is actually a survival skill that I learn throughout my puppy live.Paws in D' Park 2005 at Central Park, Bandar Utama was my first dog outing. That time I was just barely two months old and my owner had bring me to witness the lifestyle as an outing dog. By that time, I'm so scared and I feel myself is to little compare to all the other dogs. The adults are running around, while some are swimming and others sit obediently. I'm just a spectator of the day. I learn what is the "Fastest Recall' game and 'Longest Stay". The first, you need to run as if there's no tomorrow, while the latter, you just got to be a couch potato. But neither of it I think I could excel. I brief a sigh of relieve when I notice that my owner had intention to enter me in any of those heart pounding game on that day. But deep in my heart, I knew my day will finally come.
Right after the event, I was fully knocked out. Sleeping comfortably at my family's office.
~ The days when my scarf can be serve as a blanket ~
Later I learned that I'm a substitute to my owner lost mongrel, named Kinki. A sweet name isn't it? Compare to mine... I was told that she was a brilliant mongrel which had a mind of her own (in other word, stubborn). Until today, her photo still being parade at the living room. I knew the whole family will never forget her and ever be replace. Since then, I knew I gotta to do something about it. To get the love that I deserved more than anybody else. I learn to be obedient, eventhough I'm struggling for it. I notice that my owner love my mischief. She's proud that I'm so eager to run and jump.
That been a time where I pray 'Why don't you just get yourself an intelligent pure breed? Stop pushing me!'. But the arrival of a Boxer, name Hero made me realize how important to me to earn my owners love. I knew that the presence of another dog will just threaten my status at home (my status is already low enough).
~ I'll show you who's d boss ~
Yeah, those were the days. Whereby I need to stay 5 minutes for a meal, balance myself on a stool, jumping over the 1 inch hurdle and bring back that damn ball. But now I pretty get use to it and no more complaints being made. Life as a mongrel, as simple as that. You work and in return you get food and love.
~ Time to do some work ~
~ Is good to have someone who give you a hug ~

Pacco,
We think you have always been loved. If not, why are there so many puppy pictures to record your life? You help them remember how much they love Kinki and love you for being you. And look how many friends you have who love you!
You are very talented and learn so much. Our mom wishes we were as good (even though it is her fault we don't know your tricks).
