Lera & I

August is approaching, she's getting busy and overwhelm, while I'm developing lazy bones. The only thing she said to me was 'Come!' and 'COME!' and more 'come', with different wavelength and frequency. She was carrying out some sort of sound testing to see which tone suits me best. Don't you think I'm too old to learn recall? Nope, actually I'm re-learning, re-call.

According to old myth, owners need to call their dog in the most cheerful and idiotic way to grab their dog attention. I beg to differ, as this might only work on naive dog. She had done countless of replication at different setting, mostly just in yard and in park with the long line attach. When she called out 'Pacco girl' in the sweet candy way, I'm under selective deafness. Finally, she need to resort to 'PACCO, get your ass here!', then I quickly rush back before she burst in flames again.

Recently, almost every weekend, baby Lera came to pay me a visit. We experience a 'forbidden love', because we could never get in touch with each other physically, only emotionally. It reminds me of the TV series 'Pushing Daisie' by Lee Pace, currently showing at 8TV. Ned can't touch Chuck, or else, she will DIE! Everyone was worried that I might get possess by evil spirit and launch an unexpected attack on her. How cruel.

I had to have forbidden love for a baby that stayed with us. He really wanted a lick by the humans wouldn't allow it. My mom will have to practice calling Arrow in different voices. He mostly only comes when she has a treat in her hand. He has her trained.

Pappy is always yelling at me like Ms. Owner when I bark. When he says HBO words I have to pay attention.
That baby is way cute. You should be able to lick it once in awhile.

My mom loves Pushing daisies and it waiting for the new season. Says it's the best show in forever. My mom usually yells Peanut quit being a jackass when I'm doing something she doesn't like. I tend to ignore her. That baby is so cute. I can't believe they won't let you near her.

Hey Pacco, catching up here after holidays ... with you 200% about the tone of voice for recall. Why hurry back for anything except a) a furious COME command or b) a biscuit? xxJake

Hi Pacco,

I hate working on recall. Like you I don't respond to the nice 'come' I need to know that my Mom is pissed and that I better 'COME' right then. He he!!

We know about that tone of voice thing. Dad is real good at getting a very low town. We know we better listen then. Lera is a wonderful looking baby.

Oh, it looks like there's a big job in store for the dog of the house - cleaning up that kid's face! nothing like a soft, warm dog tongue for the job! And don't worry about recall - you know we dogs have selective hearing! Tell Ms. Owner to try hand signal; it works for us sheepdogs!

Hi Pacco!
Thanks fur the comment you left on our bloggie. We also hope that Kena calms down a bit and learns to play nicer so that she can play with Reba too.
We were wondering, were you able to see the video on our post? Because we can see it just fine, but most of the other pups weren't able to view it...
Have a great day!
